Passion flower (Passiflora incarnata), also known as maypop, is herbaceous with a pleasant aroma. 

Parts of the plant—leaves, flowers and stems—are widely used in herbal tea blends. Passion flower is often combined with other calming herbs in tea blends, including valerian, lemon balm and hops.

Passion flower has a particular reputation for inducing a state of calm and relaxation. It's been traditionally used to help with sleep.  Some people also take passion flower for stress, pain, and other conditions.

Attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Early research suggests that passion flower reduces some symptoms of ADHD in children aged 6-13 years when taken by mouth for 8 weeks.

This herb contains a variety of flavonoid compounds and cyanogenic glycosides. 

Suggested use:
